![]() Almost a year and a half later, I have decided to go ahead and make something available. Since I've released MCCC, I have often been asked how people could express their thanks for my work. At this point, it was pretty bare-bones, but I thought it offered enough to the base game that I would go ahead and release it for anyone else that was interested in using it. I started bookmarking Python-script sites, dug-in and the first couple of modules for MCCC were created. Really, all I had wanted was to learn Python modding and the Sims 4 seemed like the perfect opportunity for this. I originally released MC Command Center in March of 2015. Verify that your game is up to date, check the GameVersion.txt file in your /Sims 4 folder. If you are looking for older versions of MCCC than what you see here, you should read the Q&A I have on my website about that here. Installing MCCC for Sims 4 I thought Id take some time and walk you through installing MC Command Center into your Sims 4 game. Once they are completed and bugs have been found and fixed and the translations have place-holders, then I release them.for free. They often have incomplete functionality. They have no place-holders for translations yet. Pre-releases and Release Candidates, which I make available to supporters of the appropriate tiers, are not fully tested yet. Mods should always be free, I think, and mine is no exception. The public releases for my mod will always be free. Basically, MCCC Sims 4 allows you a chance to. I have details about how to do that here. In simple terms, it can be termed as the mod that adds the element of story progression while disabling culling. LastException.txt questions can be asked on the general_support channel on our server (thanks to Gusti for the help on that!!) To get access to chat in those channels, a user must be validated to ensure they are not a bot. Questions can be asked on the mccc_support channel and the mcwoohoo_support channel on the Discord server we have set-up for this. There are also documents for Installation help, Troubleshooting and a FAQ.Īll releases will be posted here and at. There is a lot of information at this site for each module including overviews, setting details and console commands (where applicable). If you forget and take the household to CAS the normal way or through the MCCC option to Modify the household, then sims will get deleted.Thank you for considering supporting my work on the Sims 4! My goal with MC Command Center was to provide missing story progression to the Sims 4 as well as give the player the ability to fine-tune their playing experience to be more "fun" for their play-style. But you are stuck using that way from then on for those households with more than 8 sims. So that is a way to manage households of more than 8 sims and not have them deleted when you go to CAS. That takes just that one sim into CAS, not the entire household. Look for the Sim Commands option and select the Modify in CAS option. You can find the option by clicking on the sim you want to edit and select MCCC. You have to do it through an MCCC option to edit individual sims. No one, as far as I know, has found a way to stop it.īut MCCC does have a way built in that does allow you to edit those households and not lose any sims. So every time you take a household into CAS, sims get deleted automatically. There are several mods out there, in addition to MCCC that do allow you to have more than 8 sims in a household but none of them override the game when it comes to CAS. The downside is you will lose any progress you made in the current said, it is hard coded into the game to only allow households to have 8 sims. Can ghosts try for Baby Sims 4 Ghosts in The Sims 4, regardless of. Hopefully one of the save points will have those sims you lost. If you are playing on 64-bit and have updated Sims 4 to 1.59, you should be using MCCC 6.6. When you click that button, you'll be prompted with a list of your last five auto saves. (Before you do that though, you might want to move MCCC out of your mods folder until you know which settings to change.) In the load game menu, highlight the save you want to restore from, then click the "recover save" button in the lower right corner. You could try restoring a save from a time before you lost them. Since mods are not supported by EA, you'll need to check with the MCCC creator through their Patreon or Discord for problems you encounter while using it.Īt any rate, if you want to try getting those sims back. I removed MCCC immediately after that and since have been slowly researching / testing it in a separate game save. I ran into some complications and changes to my game that I didn't like. can totally relate! I installed MCCC a while ago but didn't understand how it worked. ![]()
